This is an older post, however, it contains valuable information.

When it comes to medical assistance, paramedics are often, if not always the first to provide medical assistance. These professionals have to complete, at minimum, an HLT51015 – Diploma of Paramedical Science along with the extra intensive training before they can be deployed out into the field.

Only then will they be legally and properly equipped to save lives and provide emergency medical aid. Being a paramedic is a stable career that is rewarding in so many ways. For some individuals, however, furthering their knowledge by completing advanced skill set training helps open up more doors for career  growth.
