2019 HMO GP O&G Stream PGY2+ Fixed Term – Full Time commencing February 2019

Ballarat Health Services is offering a number of HMO positions in the PGY2+ GP O&G rotations stream. Successful applicants will complete four 13 week rotations from a mix of the following terms: O&G, Pediatrics, Emergency Medicine, Psych, ED and Relief.

Successful candidates will be asked for their rotation preferences following appointment, and rotations will be finalized November/December 2018.

All units offer orientation and regular training activities including:

• Case Presentations
• Journal Club
• Morbidity and Mortality Meetings
• Grand Rounds
• e-Learning

Ballarat Health Services comprises of the Base Hospital (221 beds), Queen Elizabeth Center (sub-acute care – 70 beds) and Psychiatric Services (67 beds). Ballarat Health Services is a major training site for the University of Melbourne and Deakin Rural Clinical Schools. Senior staff are strongly committed to teaching and the professional development of Interns, HMOs and Registrars.
