Ambulance Victoria is looking to employ skilled ambulance transport attendants.
In this role, you’ll be transporting people to and from hospitals as well as between their homes and other medical facilities. The position needs people who are responsive to the needs of patients during non-emergency transport. So it goes without saying that you have to be a people person – with loads of enthusiasm and bucketloads of intelligence and a good conversationalist. If you’ve ever heard the term ’emotional intelligence’ – you’ll be in with a good chance of landing this job if you have a natural way of displaying your EQ.
Rosters can go from 6am to 8pm, Monday to Sunday. All patient transport attendants can be on call for public holidays, so if you’re the person who loves to take a day off whenever everyone else does – this could not be the job for you.
Ambulance Victoria is an emergency service that prides itself on giving patients the best possible care at the right place at the right time. The leading edge clinical practice and lifesaving work of our Paramedics underpins our purpose of improving the health outcomes of the Victorian community.
