International SOS are currently recruiting for an experienced Medical Practitioner to work full- time in a clinic in Alice Springs.Specialist registration as FRACGP or ACRRM (Australian College of Rural and Remote Medicine)

The Position:

The overall purpose of your role is to provide an exceptional standard of Primary Health Care to the US Defence personnel and relatives, who are based in Pine Gap.

• Provide immediate assessment, diagnosis and treatment of clients
• Refer to, and discuss with, external specialists for advice or treatment as necessary or requested
• Administer drugs, immunisations as necessary
• Working Monday until Friday – 8 hrs per day

Staff of the JDFPG Medical Branch will provide appointment scheduling, administrative and nursing assistance as required.

Specific Requirements:

• The successful candidate will have at least 3 years working experience in either primary health and/or emergency setting.
• Full unconditional registration with AHPRA as a Medical Practitioner;
• Experience with electronic medical records and medical practice systems;
• Primary Care experience;
• Ability to run and manage a clinic on a daily basis
