Australian Paramedical College’s clinical workshops are held across Australia with our head office located on the Gold Coast (Queensland). In this video we hear from students who are studying pre-hospital emergency health care qualifications online.
Studying online with APC has never been easier. APC students enjoy a fully-supported learning experience, complemented by private forums, offline meet-ups, clinical workshops, and permanent access to a faculty of clinical educators and trainers as well as a local student success team.
Nathan tells us how he really likes the practical side because he is already working as a Medical Emergency Services Officer in the mining and resource sector. Nathan studied the Diploma of Paramedical Science, now the Diploma of Emergency Health Care. In this video, he was currently studying, building on his existing medical knowledge and extending his clinical competency.
Cristina, who was studying the Certificate III in Non-emergency Patient Transport, tells us how she is thinking about studying for a while and after watching the Ambulance and Paramedic programs on TV spurred her to take action. Having always cared about people, this line of work seemed to be the most obvious and natural choice for her.
Finally, Cat tells us how she was a nurse back home in Scotland and is adding to her existing skills by studying the HLT41115 – Certificate IV in Health Care and Diploma of Paramedical Science (expired courses). Skills advancement and a passion to get out there in the community and helping people was a huge motivation for Cat. Echoing the sentiment of every student at APC, Cat wants to become more hands-on and feel ‘the rush’ of working in an emergency services role.
Have you thought of studying with APC and seeing the benefits of a blended online and hands on course?
