This job gives you the opportunity to take the lead of the Emergency Services team with one of the largest gold mine producers in Australia.
Location: Located in the Great Sandy Desert in Western Australia, Telfer is a fly in out fly out operation from Perth.
Hours: The FIFO roster for this role is 4 days on / 3 days off.
About you
The description for this Emergency Response Specialist role doesn’t provide a list of exact qualifications, instead it details some of the requirements. They include:
- Mining and site experience is highly regarded
- Ability to manage a team and to implement, document and audit emergency response plans
- Experience providing initial medical treatment advantageous; such as paramedics or nurses
To be successful in the role we suggest that a HLT51015 – Diploma of Paramedical Science would be highly regarded. As would a Mining Supervisor Training Course and a Mining Induction Course
