About the role:

Medical Edge Australia is recruiting Patient Transport Officers holding minimum Certificate III in Non-emergency Patient Transport (HLT31120) or equivalent qualifications for PIPER Operations in Victoria on a partime and casual basis.

The Patient Transport Officer (PTO) provides low, medium and high acuity transport for a range of patients with various needs. The PTO must have a sound understanding of the clinical guidelines, licensing requirements and Medical Edge Australia policies and procedures.

For consideration, applicants must have a minimum of one year PTO experience with a licensed NEPT Provider. Qualified and registered Paramedics who have relevant emergency services employment history may also be considered.

Recruitment process for Melbourne Patient Transport Officer Jobs:

Prior to being offered a position, applicants will need to provide the following:

  • Pre-Employment Medical Check
  • Valid Employment Working with Children’s Check (WWCC)
  • Police Check obtained within six months of applying
  • Proof/or willingness to obtain the required immunisations for NEPT work
