Wilson Group are looking for experienced Emergency Services Officers (ESO’s) to work in Perth, WA. If you’ve got either your HLT41115 – Certificate IV in Health Care (Ambulance) or preferred HLT51015 – Diploma of Paramedical Science as well as other required certifications, be sure to send them over a resume!


To be considered for this opportunity with Wilson Medic One, you must be able to demonstrate that you have the skills, experience & licences:

  • Minimum HLT41115 – Certificate IV in Health Care (Ambulance) or preferred HLT51015 – Diploma of Paramedical Science
  • AHPRA Registration with the Paramedicine Board of Australia
  • Certificate III in Mine Emergency Response and Rescue (equivalent or similar)
  • Alcohol and Drug Screening Officer Qualification
  • Certificate IV Training and Assessing including LLN
  • A current qualification in Provide First Aid  (HLTAID003) and Collect Specimens for Drug of Abuse Testing (HLTPAT005)
  • Current and valid C Class Drivers Licence
  • Working with Children Check
  • WA Police Clearance (issued within the last 3 months)

  • Operational experience in health care and emergency response environment
  • Ability to work in a rotating roster
  • Physical capability to perform the duties of a Paramedic
  • A professional demeanour with a high standard of personal presentation
  • Demonstrated ability to plan emergency responses
  • Well organised
  • Demonstrated experience in an Emergency response environment
  • Computer literacy including an understanding in Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel
  • Ability to work in a team and assist in developing staff
  • Ability to work 12-hours shifts on a rotating roster covering 24/7 (early morning, late nights, weekends and public holidays)

The primary functions of *Perth ESO Paramedic Jobs include: 

  • Providing immediate emergency response to incidents
  • Work in accordance with Client and SDS policies and procedures
  • Conduct medical treatment in a clinic
  • Conduct onsite drug and alcohol monitoring, as per client requirements
  • Routine checks of emergency response equipment
  • Ensure equipment is fit for purpose and ready for use
  • Complete other tasks as directed by the Client
  • Maintaining medical equipment and acting as a medical point of contact
  • Communicating expectations to staff and responding to queries in a timely manner
  • Ensuring contractual obligations are met
  • Other Emergency Response Officer related duties
