About *Security Officer Mining Jobs Mackay:
MSS are looking for self-motivated, driven Security Emergency Officers who want to take ownership of their role and develop their skills to form part of a cohesive team that is striving for excellence. They are seeking career Security Emergency Officers who want to act and be treated as a professional who can develop their career from this challenging position.
MSS currently have full time positions available for individuals who are seeking a rewarding career opportunity in Queensland. If you would like to work as part of a growing team servicing their mining and resources clients these exciting opportunities include duties such as but not limited to;
- Provide mine security and support emergency response services on site
- Execute site access duties through the use of Training and Access Management System
- Monitor site CCTV network
- Support site HSE activities (as required)
Essential Qualifications:
- 2+ years’ experience within a Security Emergency Officer role or equivalent
- Australian Driver’s License (Manual)
- Certificate II and III in Security Operations
- Class 1 QLD Security License with unarmed and monitoring modules
- Drug and Alcohol Testing Certification
- HLTAID006 – Advanced First Aid Certificate
- Current National Police Clearance
Desirable Qualifications for *Security Officer Mining Jobs Mackay:

- RII30709 Certificate III Mines Emergency Response & Rescue
- Cert IV in Training and Assessment
- Australian Driver’s License (Manual, Medium Rigid and or Heavy Ridged)
- Current Coal Mine Workers Health Scheme Assessment (Coal Board Medical – Rescue)
- Current Physical Functional Capacity Evaluation
- BMA Core Induction or Mining Generic Standard 11
