SA Ambulance Service is seeking full-time Emergency Medical Dispatch Support Officer in Adelaide City. As an emergency medical dispatch support officer for SA Ambulance Services, you are expected to respond, provide sound first aid advice, and document relevant information on duty.
Following prescribed protocols by SA Ambulance Service, you will use telephone triage tools that would aid in determining the need to activate and mobilize the company’s resources.

Essential Selection Criteria and Experience needed;
- Must have Senior First Aid Certificate
- Officers will be exposed to stressful situations where critical thinking and sound decision making are indispensable. You are tasked to determine immediate priorities after doing an assessment with the available tools the organization provides. Excellent communication skills are necessary in keeping contact with patients and other members of the health care team in all situations.
- Can provide reassurance to patients and folks within reasonable grounds. Able to explain or provide instructions in a clear and concise manner. Must maintain confidentiality, provide accurate record of information and good diplomacy skills at all times.
- Computer literate and good typing skills on Microsoft Office applications.
