The functions for this role Emergency Services Officer Jobs WA Falck, are as follows:

  • Conduct first aid services within the Company’s CPG’s and medical protocols
  • Operate and maintain the first aid facilities and an ambulance
  • Operate and maintain the emergency facilities and fire appliances
  • Undertake regulator inspections, checks and basic servicing on the Company’s Emergency Response equipment
  • Maintain effective records to provide suitable lead times requiring replacement
  • Lodge notifications for defective plant and equipment
  • Conduct training as per Company’s training roster
  • Provide ongoing skills maintenance as required on a regular basis as part of the site duties
  • Conduct and assist with regular ERT training drills on a range of site based requirements
  • Comply with all relevant Company policies and procedures

Essential Selection Criteria and Experience Required:

  • Cert IV Healthcare
  • Cert III Mines Emergency Response and Rescue
  • Certificate in Alcohol and Drug Testing
  • Cert II Security Operations
  • Security Officer Licence
  • Cert 4 Training and Assessment (TAE)
  • Current open HR Drivers licence
  • Dangerous Goods Security Card
  • Authorised drug collection officer
  • Current First Aid & CPR certificate
  • National Police Clearance (within 12 months)
  • MSIC
  • White Card
  • Basic Microsoft Office/Computer skills
  • Good Communication Skills
  • Min. 2 years Mining Experience
  • Min. 2 years Fire Service Experience

Desirable Selection Criteria:

  • 4×4 Certificate
  • Cert II in Public Safety – Fire Fighting & Emergency Operations (PUA20601) or higher
  • Statements of Attainment in:
    • Respond to Wildfire (PUAFIR204A);
    • Suppress wildfire (PUAFIR303B);
    • Operate Breathing Apparatus (PUAFIR207B);
    • Operate Pumps (PUAFIR309B);
