Patient Transport Officer Jobs Hobart – Multiple Locations

Moreton Group Medical Services is recruiting for casual Patient Transport Officers to support the delivery of statewide Non-Emergency Patient Transport.

Key responsibilities for Patient Transport Officers

  • Provide basic care and specialised transport for low acuity patients
  • Communicate effectively and appropriately with patients, health professionals, all you interact with to support Patient care needs.
  • Maintain all equipment and vehicles in a state of cleanliness and readiness to undertake work
  • Comply with the provisions of License conditions and the Commercial NEPT Protocols
  • Maintain comprehensive and accurate records all patient transports undertaken
  • Comply with Moreton Group Medical Services Policies and Procedures
  • Undertake other duties as required.

  • Ability to undertake and complete requisite studies to qualify as a Patient Transport Officer

Certificate III in Non Emergency Patient Transport

Mandatory Requirements

To be considered for the role, applicants must meet the following requirements:

  • The right to work in Australia
  • Minimum Certificate III Non-Emergency Patient Transport (NEPT) or ability to obtain certification within six months of commencement of the role; or be a minimum Level 3 Volunteer Ambulance Officer with Ambulance Tasmania
  • Valid and clear Working with Children Check
  • Current satisfactory Police Check
  • A current, unrestricted C class manual driver licence
  • Meet vaccination requirements
