Successful applicants will undergo an initial eight week training course and are expected to complete a HLT31115 – Certificate III in Non-emergency Patient Transport.
Continuing employment is dependent on completion of the Certificate III in Non-emergency Patient Transport within 12 months of commencement.
This is the recommended time frame to complete this course.
Salary Range: $59,578 – $63,313 (PN: 21120, several)

The ACT Ambulance Service (ACTAS) is looking for motivated, enthusiastic, compassionate people to join their Non-Emergency Patient Transport Service in the role of Patient Transport Officer (PTO).
PTOs deliver high quality care and support to members of the ACT Community that require transport to and from medical facilities.
You will have outstanding communication skills and personal presentation, great attention to detail and like to be punctual. If you are successful in this role, you will be part of a small, busy team.
You’ll possess the ability to integrate into a rotating shift pattern, covering weekdays, weekends and public holidays between the hours of 7am-9pm. If you hold a first aid certificate, that would be an advantage.
