STUDENT TIPS – YOUR CHEERLEADERS

“MAKE A CONSCIOUS EFFORT TO SURROUND YOURSELF WITH POSITIVE, NOURISHING, AND UPLIFTING PEOPLE – PEOPLE WHO BELIEVE IN YOU, ENCOURAGE YOU TO GO AFTER YOUR DREAMS, AND APPLAUD YOUR VICTORIES.” – JACK CANFIELD

We all can sometimes lack the motivation to keep going, that’s why it is important to surround yourself with people who you trust and will encourage and believe in you. Those who will inspire and encourage you to keep going. Those who are in your corner who positively influence your life and always remind you of the awesome potential you have. Support from your family is also great to have around you. They know you well, they support you through tough times and understand you better than you do yourself at times.

Yes…we all need a cheer squad who can;

Surround yourself with positive people that provide you with encouragement towards your goal. Their compliments push you to grow and become a better version of yourself. When studying this will boost your confidence to keep going and achieve your goal.

Like above, surrounding yourself with positive people is key. But this can also go into your role models, who are the people that inspire you, what are their best traits and how do they affect you. Will their uplifting and positive attitudes help you strive for the best and push you forward.

Other people in your life do affect your traits. Encouraging and positive friends/family know you and will remind you of your best traits. They are there to lift your self-confidence and help you get back on track when lost or unsure of yourself. Ask someone like this, close to you, what they think your 3 strengths are as a person and your 3 best qualities. You may find out more about yourself than ever before.

Hard times do happen and when a challenge comes around many people will feel deflated and outside their comfort zone. However, during these times jump to your positive friends and family, let them know your difficulties so they can help you, support you and encourage you to get back to it. They may even suggest a break to reset your brain and accomplish more.

Let the people who have supported, encouraged and been positive towards you in your journey celebrate the victories with you. Hear that they are proud of you and receive the satisfaction of completing a goal.
