About the Role

Reporting to the Admissions Manager, the Course Advisor will proactively drive student enrolment numbers via outbound calls to prospects generated through website and social media platform enquiries.

The Course Advisor role engages and builds rapport with prospective students to understand their motivations, goals, and life experiences. This role guides prospects in choosing the best course and study pathway to suit their education needs, gaining the skills and confidence to achieve a career in Emergency Health Care.

Critical to the success of APC, the role includes nurturing a pipeline of prospective students, managing a high volume of daily outbound calls, ensuring leads are followed up promptly and converting enquiries into enrolments achieving set targets and KPIs.

Fundamental to the role is maintaining accurate information, ensuring data integrity within APC’s customer relationship management system, and adhering to specific enrolment criteria and compliance measures.  

 

About You

To be successful in this position, you must be energetic and passionate about delivering a high-quality customer service and support experience for our prospective students.

You will be able to demonstrate the following key attributes, qualifications and experience:

• Minimum 12 months telephone sales experience
• Excellent telephone sales track record, working within a high sales KPI and incentive-driven environment
• Experience in an education sector (desirable)
• Knowledge of consultative and needs-based selling
• Sound computer skills with strong attention to detail and data entry accuracy
• Self-motivated with a results-driven mindset and a great attitude
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Willingness to learn new skills and continuously refine capabilities
• Ability to work autonomously and also collaborate with internal teams when required.
