About Us

Australian Paramedical College is Australia’s leading provider of vocational education in pre-hospital care. We are proud to deliver in-demand industry skills to grow and support Australia’s healthcare network.

We go above and beyond to ensure the quality of our graduating students, who become leaders in their industry, working as private sector medics, patient transport officers or continuing further University study to become state paramedics.

We have nationwide reach across both students and industry employer partners, and our expansive and high-quality training facilities, student support and training teams are unmatched in the sector.

We strive to innovate and use evidence-based data to ensure we deliver industry-leading training and outstanding support to our students.

About the Role

We are currently recruiting for several suitably qualified pre-hospital emergency care practitioners to assist with delivering face-to-face training via our Student Workshop Program for Certificate III, Certificate IV, and Diploma Paramedical students. These roles are offered casually within standard business hours, across various rosters, with workshop delivery from February through November.

Each pre-set workshop is delivered and supervised by our qualified Trainers and Assessors. This role will support the Trainer and Assessor by demonstrating essential skills and guiding small groups within workshops of between 10 to 20 students.

Our students learn a diverse range of skills at the Certificate and Diploma levels, including CPR and defibrillation, IM injections, IV cannulation, basic airway adjuncts, three-lead ECG interpretation, and manual handling. All skills are delivered in line with current best practices and are within the skill sets of Diploma and Bachelor qualified practitioners.
