Australian Paramedical College’s (APC) offers nationally recognised courses via a flexible, blended learning model to students all across the country.
While Clinical Workshops are held in New South Wales, Victoria, Queensland and Western Australia, nearly 10% of our graduates are located in all other states and territories!

Career Pathways
There are various employment pathways available to qualified APC graduates.
You could become an Event Medic, Patient Transport Officer (PTO) or explore the pathway to becoming a Paramedic. The Australian healthcare industry is continuing to significantly grow which means increased job opportunities for these qualified positions too!

University Pathways
If you’re wishing to become a Paramedic, studying the HLT51020 – Diploma of Emergency Health Care first is a popular choice for many individuals.
This pathway allows you to build up your practical skills and medical knowledge, not to mention qualify you, so you’re able to get a job in healthcare before applying for university. The best part is your ATAR doesn’t matter!
There are various universities across Australia that accept VET Entry and have RPL available so when the time comes to apply, be sure to check if you’re eligible. You can learn more here or alternatively, feel free to check out some FAQs to help better understand your options.
