Paramedical career pathways

Exploring a career in the pre-hospital emergency or non-emergency healthcare industry is not only exciting because there are various career pathways you can take, you also have the choice to work in the public or private sector where an abundance of jobs are available.

If you’re looking to become a Medic, or work in the mines, you’ll likely find yourself gravitating towards the private sector rather than the public. You could expect to provide medical support on industrial sites, sporting games or competitions, music festivals, community events and much more.

If your goal is to work as a Registered Paramedic, individuals often start their career working for a state service. 

Private sector careers
