About Sport & Event Medics
Sport & Event Medics was established in 2011 by Sean and Leigh, both former and current APC students. They came together with a common goal – to create a positive impact in their community. Sean and Leigh identified an excellent opportunity to give back by providing healthcare services at local sporting events in their area.
Since then, Sport & Event Medics have only gone from strength to strength becoming a popular employer for APC graduates within the South-East Queensland region.

APC graduate, Alicia, completed her Clinical Placemen with Sport & Event Medics, sharing “I did the U18’s Basketball State Champs… we covered players, refs and the crowd; and assessed everything from c-spine, concussions, dislocated shoulder, ankles, knees, wrists, and general overuse injuries. I had an amazing 5 days, learnt loads and now I have more confidence within my knowledge base having put it in to practice.”
