About the Role

ACL are seeking part time Pathology Collectors to join our dedicated team across multiple locations. This position will suit self-motivated individuals with a high attention to detail, excellent communication skills and a strong focus on outstanding customer service.

Specific duties include:

• Attending to the care, storage and processing of pathology specimens.
• Collection of blood and other samples from patients.
• Attend to paperwork and associated clerical duties to ensure all details are correct in a timely manner.

Application Requirements

• Certificate III or IV in Pathology Collection or relevant industry experience.
• Exceptional customer service skills both in person and over the telephone.
• Exceptional time management skills.
• Sound clinical knowledge.
• Ability to communicate effectively with the collections team, doctors, patients and other stakeholders.
• Ability to work alone and participate in weekday and weekend shifts across any of our collection centres.
• Computer skills.
• A current Driver’s License.
• Rights to work in Australia.

Vaccination Requirements

As a healthcare provider, Clinical Labs requires all new employees to be vaccinated against preventable diseases. If successful, they will ask for proof of immunisation accordingly for their records. You may be required to undergo probity checks as part of the recruitment process including police check and licence check.
