As a Patient Transport Officer, you will play a vital role in providing safe, compassionate, and professional
non-emergency patient transport services. Working alongside a clinician, you will transport patients
between healthcare facilities and private residences while ensuring their comfort, dignity, and wellbeing
throughout every journey.
This role includes, but is not limited to:
· Providing safe and efficient non-emergency patient transport
· Assisting patients with mobility, transfers, and stretcher operations
· Monitoring patient wellbeing and reporting any changes in condition to the treating clinician
· Maintaining ambulance vehicles, equipment, and clinical supplies
· Communicating effectively with patients, healthcare providers, and control staff
· Completing accurate patient care records and transport documentation
· Adhering to infection prevention, safety, and clinical standards at all times
