Level 3 First Responder

Emergency Medical Response is a Victoria Department of Health Intermediate licensed first aid service provider and training service that is growing. We are currently seeking enthusiastic and dedicated casual staff for immediate start with experience as a medic, or AHPRA registered Health Practitioner to join our Level 3 and Health Practitioner First Responder teams in Melbourne for onsite work in Melbourne and surrounding areas throughout Victoria.

We are seeking staff that ideally already have some real-life practical experience in treating patients in a pre-hospital setting. We are also looking for candidates that are passionate about providing high-quality medical care to their patients and can work well under pressure, including major trauma.

The successful candidates must be available for a variety of shifts sometimes on week days and mostly weekends (including public holidays and not employed full time) and have access to a car to travel to our depot in Laverton North or directly to locations on occasion.

We are looking for:
Completed – Certificate IV in Health Care, Diploma of Emergency Health Care, Diploma of Paramedical Science, Paramedical Science Bachelor Degree or similar qualification qualifications for Level 3 First Responder applications.
AHPRA registered paramedic or enrolled nurse qualifications for Health Practitioner First Responder applications.
Previous experience in treating patients in a pre-hospital environment would be an advantage.
Available for a variety of shifts sometimes during the week, mostly weekends and public holidays.
Have access to a car to travel to our depot in Laverton North in Melbourne
Current working with children’s employee check (or prepared to obtain one)
Excellent presentation and communication
Reside preferably in Western Melbourne or surrounding area
Not be a student currently studying a degree at a University requiring more than 3 days attendance per week.
Not currently employed full time.
