Jens Hojby

APC Trainer & Assessor

  • 7 years industry experience as a Trainer & Assessor (Medical)
  • Completed a Diploma in Paramedical Science, Diploma of Leadership & Management & Diploma of Work Health Safety
  • Event Medic – marathons and sport events

Sophie Lucia Griffiths

APC Trainer & Assessor, Registered Paramedic

  • Bachelor of Paramedicine with Charles Sturt University
  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment

Chris King

APC Trainer & Assessor, Registered Paramedic

  • Bachelor of Health Science Paramedic
  • Certificate IV in Training & Assessment
  • 6 years on road experience as an Advanced Life Support Paramedic and Clinical Instructor
  • 3 years as a Trainer & Assessor and Training Team Leader in the First Aid and Healthcare Industry

Jolanta Kfoury

APC Pathology Trainer & Assessor

  • 27 years of industry experience in Pathology collection
  • 8 years of experience as a Trainer, including 5 years of mentoring within the industry
  • Developed and delivered Drug & Alcohol testing training programs to industry 
  • Holds Certificate III in Pathology Collection and Certificate IV in Training & Assessment

Rachelle Elliott

Trainer & Assessor

  • Worked in Aged Care and Disability for 10 years
  • Completed Diploma of Paramedical Science with APC in 2020
  • Worked as an Advanced First Responder and Ambulance Attendant for 5 years
  • Clinical Supervisor and First Aid Commander at major events
  • APC Practical Workshop Instructor for the past 2 years

I feel like as a Trainer I do take on more of a mum role – I definitely like to mentor my students and kind of coddle them throughout the workshops, get them to the end and see such a difference from Monday to Friday with all of their experiences.

My advice would be don’t give up, it will get hard but it will get so much easier and it will be so wroth it in the end.”

 

Leonard Price

APC Practical Workshop Instructor, Registered Paramedic

  • Bachelor of Emergency Health (Paramedic)
  • Advanced Diploma in Specialist Paramedic Practice (Intensive Care)
  • 12 years’ experience as a registered paramedic with Ambulance Victoria
  • 7 years as an Advanced Life Support (ALS) paramedic in south-east Melbourne
  • 5 years as an Intensive Care (MICA) paramedic, treating critically ill patients across Victoria
  • 14 years’ experience as a tutor and lecturer at Monash University, teaching both undergraduate and postgraduate students
  • Cast member on Channel 9’s Paramedics TV series, which aired for 4 seasons!
