The partnership between GFA and APC

The Industry Partnership between GFA and APC is multi-faceted, delivering Clinical Placement and employment opportunities for students and graduates. If you wish to learn more about the initial announcement of our partnership, you can read it here.

Clinical Placement offerings with GFA

APC and GFA began an Industry Partnership in late 2023, initially offering APC’s HLT41120 – Certificate IV in Health Care students the chance to complete their 80 hours of Clinical Placement. With this partnership being announced, a significant number of HLT51020 – Diploma of Emergency Health Care students jumped at the chance to join the GFA team, allowing the invitation to be extended to these students too.

Employing First Responders, Medics, Registered Nurses, Paramedics and more, students can feel directly supported by the GFA team as they gain confidence in-field on placement before becoming qualified and looking for employment within the healthcare sector.

Employment pathways at GFA

APC has had the privilege of seeing several APC students-turned-graduates gain employment with GFA, thanks to the completion of their Clinical Placement within the company.

The ‘Health Care and Social Assistance’ industry has become one of the largest growing sectors in Australia, with a past growth of 24.8% and future growth of 15.8%*. Knowing a significant number of individuals enrolled at APC are looking for an entire career change, the time to enrol and commence a healthcare career has never been better.
