Students based in NZ can complete their Clinical Workshop at APC’s state-of-the-art training campus in Australia’s sunny Gold Coast, or one of our campuses in New South Wales, Victoria or Western Australia depending on their preference.
APC offers a dual-recognised qualification which is self-paced and delivered via a blended learning model.
Students in both Australia and New Zealand can study the HLT51020 – Diploma of Emergency Health Care as a pathway to paid employment in pre-hospital healthcare.*
Gain the skills to deliver pre-hospital care in a range of roles, or put you on the pathway to becoming a paramedic.
*Please note that entry requirements to study include the right to travel to Australia, holding a full driver’s license and a minimum age requirement of 18 years, alongside current enrolment requirements for Australian students.

If you’re wishing to become a Paramedic, studying the HLT51020 – Diploma of Emergency Health Care is an excellent place to start. This pathway allows you to build up your practical skills and medical knowledge, not to mention qualify you, so you’re able to get a job in healthcare before applying for university!
There are various Australian universities that accept VET Entry and have RPL available. If you’re based in New Zealand, you can advance your studies to become a Paramedic by applying for Auckland University of Technology (AUT) too!
