Patient Transport OfficerThe Mater Hospital is a leading private hospital, and an icon of the North Shore in Sydney. They are currently advertising for a Patient Transport Officer to join their team.

The PTO will be responsible for a safe, courteous and efficient transport service for clients of the Mater Hospital. Operating on a variety of shift types, the transport officer provides a non-emergency patient transport service, however may be required to drive the vehicle in both emergency and non-emergency conditions to ensure safe and best outcomes for patients.

What the Mater Hospital need from you

  • Minimum Certificate III Non-emergency Client Transport (We suggest completing a Certificate IV in Health Care  to increase your career potential)
  • Current unrestricted NSW Driver’s License
  • CPR and basic first aid training
  • Experience with patient transport and service delivery
  • Ability to operate as a medical team member in a patient transfer situation
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
