Become a female Paramedic – This video shows that anything is possible!

In this video 11 year old Brianna says that she wants to be a helicopter doctor when she’s older. But she always thought girls couldn’t do that… Watch the moment she meets NSW Ambulance helicopter doctor Clare – it’s pretty special!

After watching this video, it saddened us to think that the next generation of female first responders feel like they will be entering a male dominated workforce. Whether you want to become a Paramedic, Doctor, Nurse or anything in between, we want you to know that there is no difference for females or males.

Traits for being a good first responder don’t get divided between genders, they are completely equal. These traits include:

  • Honesty
  • Integrity
