Simon Sawyer

Simon Sawyer

Trainer and Assessor Manager
  • Simon has a Bachelor’s of Paramedicine (with Honour), a PhD in Paramedicine, a Bachelor’s of Psychology and Management/Marketing, and a Certificate in Health Professions Education.
  • Registered Paramedic with 10+ years as an Advanced Life Support Paramedic in Victoria
  • 7 years working as a University Lecturer teaching the Bachelor of Paramedicine programs
  • One of the first Paramedics in the world to earn his PhD in Paramedicine, focusing on paramedic response to family violence. Presenting his research and providing training across the world.

Alexandra Griffiths

Alexandra Griffiths

NSW Regional Training Lead
  • Studied Nursing, Paramedicine and Medicine in my country and completed a Bachelor of Paramedicine at Charles Sturt University (Bathurst)
  • Industry experience as an Intensive Care Paramedic with NSW Ambulance for 20 years and a Health Educator with CPA Training Alliance (RTO) for 10 years
  • CPA Employee recognition Award – High Achiever Award Winner (performing above and beyond); Street Mission Volunteer for 10 years
  • I have 15yo identical twin boys and we love skiing in Perisher and overseas

  • 7 years industry experience as a Trainer & Assessor (Medical).
  • Completed a Diploma in Paramedical Science, Diploma of Leadership & Management & Diploma of Work Health Safety.
  • Event Medic – marathons and sport events.
Naomi Campbell

Naomi Campbell

Training and Assessment Officer
  • Diploma of Paramedical Science.
  • Active volunteer for surf lifesaving QLD since 2018.
  • Completed several clinical placements for event medical companies (Marathons, Sport events, GC schoolies) and 90 hours EMT experience at Billabong gold mine site.
  • Fluent in Auslan.
Gary Halford

Gary Halford

RPL & WHS Officer, Trainer and Assessor
  • 15 years working as Tech Officer in Anatomy & Pathology at UQ & Griffith Uni & worked for RPL Help Pty Ltd for 4 years.
  • Diploma of Management, Certificate IV WHS, Certificate IV TAE, Certificate III Mortuary Science.
  • Enjoys surfing, the beach, golf, camping and following the NRL.
Nathan Seidel

Nathan Seidel

Trainer & Assessor
  • Predominately worked in Western Australia in gold and iron ore mining sites (surface and underground) for 5 years.
  • Diploma of Paramedical Science, Certificate III in Mines Emergency Response and Rescue, Certificate IV in Training and Assessment, Advanced Cardiac Life Support and Pediatric Life Support, Drug and Alcohol Testing Qualification and completing a Bachelor of Paramedic Science at University of Tasmania
  • AHPRA Paramedic Registration with future aspirations to continue studying paramedicine and critical care
Mick Jones

  • Gained extensive experience as an Advanced Care Paramedic (ACP), clinical instructor, Rescue Paramedic and an Operations and Training Coordinator.
  • Professional and vocational qualifications in paramedicine, industrial health and OHS, mines rescue, security, policing and vocational education.
  • Retired detective in the Police force.

  • Registered paramedic and Community Educator with Queensland Ambulance Service
  • Emergency service volunteer with Red Cross
  • Enjoys Surfing, hiking, and travelling

Paul Munro

Trainer & Assessor
  • 8 years’ experience as an EMT, Mentor and Trainer with St John WA working 2-3 shifts a week.
  • 15 years’ experience as a Volunteer Firefighter.
  • Diploma of Paramedical Science.
  • Background in Finance and HR/Training, running book-keeping business in spare time.

  • Over 20 years experience in pre-hospital care mostly in the construction industry.
  • Established own company FAST First Aid Solutions and Training early 2019.

Trainer & Assessor
  •  Ambulance Officer and Event Medic in South Australia.
  • Certificate IV in Health Care, Certificate IV in Training and Assessment, and a Diploma of Paramedical Science.
  • Currently completing the Bachelor of Paramedical Science, finishing my degree in 2022.
  • I love chocolate, studying and dogs!

  • 5-years experience working in the pre-hospital field as an Advanced Care Paramedic 2 in both metropolitan and regional QLD.
  • Registered Paramedic and Registered Nurse.
  • Working towards a PhD in paramedic fatigue.
  • I can juggle and I teach hip hop dance.
